This book on orofacial pain is a clinical text using an evidence-based approach to the assessment and management of dental and orofacial pain in an interactive format using a biopsychosocial model of management. Orofacial pain falls between dentistry and medicine in that it requires input from both these broad specialities. The book has been written by a multi-disciplinary team, all of whom are active clinicians and all but one have got higher research degrees in the field of pain.
